My novel ‘Oh, my Kosovo!’ was a project close to my heart. The story of a young man who volunteers to go to war in Kosovo is based on facts. It allowed me to combine my deep interest in people and the crises of our time - and I was able to realise my first major literary project. I have also written and published short stories. I am currently working on a new novel that takes up a historical theme from the Second World War and is again set in the Balkans - my favourite region since I lived there for eight years.

Journalist - PR copywriter
still allow myself to be surprised by people and things. I learnt journalism from the ground up: at the Henri Nannen School in Hamburg and during my years at the Berliner Zeitung. After my assignment in the United Nations press office (Kosovo mission), I regularly work as a freelance journalist for the Berliner Zeitung and other media.
I also work as a PR copywriter. My clients are agencies for political communication and public institutions. The core task of this work is to prepare content from politics and administration so that citizens are informed in a well-founded and stimulating way.
Trainer - Lecturer
Sharing my knowledge with others is what motivates me in my work as a lecturer and trainer. I teach online and in face-to-face courses on copywriting, technical editing, job application training and communication. I trained as a trainer at the IHK Berlin and by now gained ten years of experience. The contact with the participants is the best part of the work. It keeps it exciting and always new.
